150-S251NBD controller is an Allen-Bradley SMC-50 series motor controller rated for 251 Amps of output current. An internal bypass is available as a standard feature on the controller. The 150-S251NBD controller comes in an open enclosure. The rated line voltage for the controller is 200 to 480 Volts AC (3-phase, at 50 to 60 Hertz). The control voltage range is 100 to 240 Volts AC (two 24 Volts DC inputs and two relay outputs are available as standard I/O). The energy-saving mode on the controller is a feature that helps to increase controller efficiency and reduce system downtime. The configuration of the 150-S251NBD controller can be performed from a personal computer or through the LCD which is provided for this purpose. Modes of operation that are supported by the controller include the soft stop, soft start, pump start, pump stop, and the external bypass.

When the 150-S251NBD controller is used with line connected motors at 200 Volts AC line voltage, the rated motor current range is 84 to 251 Amps and the maximum output power is 75 Horsepower at 60 Hertz frequency. When the 150-S251NBD controller is used with line connected motors at 230 Volts AC line voltage, the rated motor current range is from 84 to 251 Amps and the maximum output power is 100 Horsepower at 60 Hertz frequency and 75 kilowatts at 50 Hertz frequency. When the 150-S251NBD controller is used with line connected motors rated at 400, 415, or 460 Volts AC line voltage, the rated motor current range is 84 to 251 Amps and the maximum output power is 200 Horsepower at 60 Hertz and it is 132 kilowatts at 50 Hertz.
