The 1761-L16AWA is a MicroLogix Controller under the Bulletin 1761 product family. This compact controller features 1K memory, integrated RS232 communication port, Sixteen (16) discrete inputs and Six (6) relay outputs.

The Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1761-L16AWA is a compact controller with Sixteen (16) I/O channels, Ten (10) of which are AC input points and Six (6) of which are relay output points. It comes with an EEPROM memory with 1K user capacity that is capable of programming up to 400 data words or more than 700 instruction words. It can support 40 timers and an average program scan time of 2 milliseconds and an average I/O scan time of 0.21 milliseconds. It has a total measurement of 5.24 x 2.87 x 3.15 inches and a weight of 1.40 pounds. It comes with LED status, input, and output indicators that monitor the controller’s current condition. The 1761-L16AWA also has a master control relay safety feature that allows quick emergency controller shutdown when needed. It also uses an IP20 enclosure. The 1761-L16AWA has a response time of 8 milliseconds at the nominal filter setting and a 20 ms maximum delay for both the ON and OFF states. It is a compact controller with inthegrated Sixteen (16) I/O points which comprise of Ten (10) 79-132VAC rated inputs, Six (6) relay output channels rated for 24-125VDC and 120-240 VAC. The controller is powered by an AC source with rated range of 85-264VAC.

This controller is integrated with an Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) memory with size of 1KB. It can be downloaded with approximately 737 instructions and 437 data words. This controller is capable of implementing discrete and analog control as well as time based, counter based and simple motion control applications. Additionally, this controller has advanced discrete instruction sets such as Flip-Flop, Rising and Falling signal detection and other discrete instructions. It is also provided with analog signal conditioning and processing. The average program scan time 2 milliseconds.

Compatible cables include 1761-CBL-PM02 Series C, 1761-CBL-HM02 Series C, 1761-CBL-AM00 Series C, 1761-CBL-AP00 Series C, 1761-CBL-PH02 Series A, and 1761-CBL-AH02 Series A.

The controller is recommended to be installed in NEMA rated enclosure or any equivalent to provide adequate protection to the electronic hardware.
