This same communication network is used to directly integrate the drive to the user program which allow full integration of the entire drive’s parameters including diagnostic tags.

The auxiliary control power of the 20F11ND040AA0NNNNN PowerFlex drive provides support when there is power loss from the main supply. It also provides automatic feedback loss switchover, and it features universal, encoder, and dual encoder feedback options with multiple feedback interfaces to support a wide range of applications such as; Incremental, SSI, and BiSS rotary-linear applications, EnDat and Hiperface for Stegmann and Heidenhain high-resolution feedback. For safety requirements, the 20F11ND040AA0NNNNN PowerFlex 753 AC drive features DriveGuard Safe Torque-Off, safe speed monitor, and embedded safety relay safety options like the Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT), the Pump Jack, and the Pump Off options for oil well applications. Upon each startup, the drive runs preventive diagnostics to detect and prevent possible downtime during machine operation, and the conformal coating of its components and its IP00/IP20 enclosure protect the drive from dust and corrosive gases.
