The 22F-D1P5N103 is a PowerFlex 4M Adjustable Frequency AC Drive from Allen-Bradley. This drive operates when supplied with voltage of 480VAC, 3-Phase. It delivers output power of 0.4 kW or 0.5 HP. The drive’s output Current is 1.5 Ampreres with an IP20, NEMA UL Type Open enclosure. It has an embedded Human Interface Module (HIM) without an IGBT brake and EMC filter.

The Allen-Bradley 22F-D1P5N103 is a part of the PowerFlex 4M product family of adjustable frequency AC drive. This drive has input electrical ratings of 380-480 VAC, 47-63 Hz, 3-Phase. It delivers an output voltage of 0-480 VAC, 3-Phase, output current of 1.5 Amperes, output power of 0.5 HP or 0.4 kW and 0-400 Hz, fully programmable with 97.5% efficiency.

The 22F-D1P5N103 may also be used to lower energy consumption. It comes with programmable start and stop profile such as acceleration and deceleration times, ramp-up and ramp-down parameters. Additionally, it has a variety of programmable stop modes such as Ramp, Coast, DC-Brake, Ramp-to-Hold and S-curve. These parameters when configured properly, allow the drive to efficiently modulate the motor speed by preventing generation of large amount of inrush current as well as cyclic start/stop of the motor.

The 22F-D1P5N103 comes with a class 10 motor overload protection. It has an intermittent overload rating of 150% for 1 minute and 200% overload capacity up to 3 seconds. It also has an overvoltage ratings of 810 VDC bus voltage that is equivalent to 575V AC incoming line and undervoltage rating of 390 VDC that is equivalent to 275V AC incoming line.

This drive supports DIN rail mounting as well as Zero stacking configuration.

The 22F-D1P5N103 features a wide overload protection of 150% for 60s and a 200% overload for 3s, and it provides both current and voltage protection. The drive’s output frequency range is 0-400Hz, with a drive efficiency of 97.5%, and it offers a power and logic ride thru time of 100ms and 0.5s. It has 5 digital 24V DC control inputs that is selectable between the Source and Sink Control via a DIP switch setting, and one 0-10V DC and 4-20mA, 10-bit analog input, with 100K Ohms and 250 Ohms input impedance. The 22F-D1P5N103 has 1 Form C Relay output, with 3A and 0.5A resistive and inductive ratings at 30V DC, 125V AC, and 240V AC, and it provides performance control via the Volts per Hertz control option, with ±2% of base speed across a 40:1 speed range performance range (suitable for Open Loop Applications with Slip Compensation). It has an adjustable Carrier Frequency range between 2 and 10 kHz, and it offers the optional multiple programmable stop modes (Ramp, Coast, DC-Brake, Ramp-to-Hold and S Curve). The 22F-D1P5N103 has a programming panel with integrally fixed keypads, and a 4-digit LCD display, with 10 additional indicators for showing the drive modes. It comes with an integral RS-485 communication capability, suitable for programming by a PC, and for multi-drop network configuration, and it supports optional DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, PROFIBUS DP, LonWorks, and ControlNet communication options for wider network capacity. It has a working temperature range of around 14-122 oF at 0-95% relative humidity and it is stored at a temperature range of 40-185 oF. The drive has a 1G operational vibration withstand at 5-500Hz, and a 15G shock withstands for 11ms, and it provides cooling through the convection cooling option. The 22F-D1P5N103 weighs approximately 1.6Kg, with total dimensions of 50mm x 172mm x 152mm, and it is UL, CSA, and CE-certified.
