2711P-T6C20D8 is a PanelView Plus 6 600 Terminal that is made by Allen-Bradley. The 2711P-T6C20D8 is an operator interface that allows the operators to monitor, manage, and display application status information about the machine. This terminal has modular components that allow for flexible configuration, installation, and upgrades. This unit is powered via 24 Volts DC input power. It comes with USB, RS-232, and Ethernet ports for communication with other devices. This is a common feature of all the Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 6 HMI panels.

Allen-Bradley 2711P-T6C20D8 processor’s speed has increased from 350 MHz to 1 GHz and the screen transition rate is approximately 70% faster than the same rate in previous models. The system memory has been increased from 64 MB of RAM to 256 MB of RAM and the flash storage space has increased from 64 MB to 512 MB. The illumination power of the backlight displays has also increased. Additionally, the 2711P-T6C20D8 provides greater connectivity to a variety of external hardware options such as printers, mice, and keyboards. Optional communication modules can be ordered for additional network communication.

The display screen has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels in 18-bit color graphics and viewing area of 115 x 86 mm (4.5 x 3.4 in.). This colored screen is ideal for designing process mimic with high-level of information through color coded animations. This color-coded scheme may represent the actual state of an instrument or device as well as depict process area or grouping.

The touch screen input allows the operator to directly interact with runtime objects. Through this action, the intended control commands may be carried out. This analog resistive touchscreen has an actuation lifespan of 1 million presses at an actuation force of 10-110 g.

This operator terminal is powered by an external supply voltage of 18-30VDC with nominal value of 24VDC. It has an integrated memory of 256 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) and 512 MB non-volatile memory including an approximately 79 MB user memory.

The 2711P-T6C20D8 is certified by UL, C-UL, CE, C-Tick, RoHS and KCC and compatible for installation flush mounted to a NEMA rated, UL Type rated, or IP rated enclosure. This operator terminal has an operating temperature range of 0-55 Degrees Celsius with an operating vibration and shock of 15 g at 11 ms and 10…57 Hz, 0.012 peak-to-peak displacement 57…500 Hz, 2 g peak acceleration , respectively.
