The GE IC693DSM302 is a Motion Mate DSM302 motion controller, a high-performance two-axis module designed to work with the Series 90-30 PLC. This module is built to handle complex logic solving and communication functions within the system. The DSM302 is capable of controlling digital servos, and from firmware version 1.40 onwards, it can also control servos with an analog command input, such as the GE Fanuc SL Series Servos. Onboard is a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), which provides vector control for any GE Fanuc AC servos. Additionally, the Velocity Feed Forward function and Position Error Integrator enhance tracking accuracy.
